KARACHI: Thousands of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) activists on Saturday staged a sit-in here at MA Jinnah Road against US interference, drone attacks, target killings, extortion, and abysmal law and order situation in the country. Addressing the participants, JI leaders said the country is facing a law and order crisis due to ineffective policies of rulers. JI leaders also alleged that “pro-American rulers [have] turned the country into an American colony … and have no courage to defend the country’s territory and sovereignty against continuing drone attacks.”
