Govt official killed during robbery

RAWALPINDI:

A government official was shot dead during a robbery within the limits of Chautra Police Station. Three suspects riding a motorcycle fled the scene. Police registered a case of robbery and murder on the complaint of the victim's brother, Muhammad Hussain. According to police, the deceased, Muhammad Adeeb, was a government employee returning home on leave on the night of February 20.

According to the FIR, Adeeb called his brother upon reaching Chakri Interchange and asked him to pick him up on a motorcycle. When the brother arrived at Chakri stop, Adeeb was accompanied by his friend Rehmat Khan. Adeeb told his brother that he would drop Rehmat at Sehal and asked him to wait.
