Chief commissioner visits ICT service centre

Directs staff to introduce token system

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory Chief Commissioner Joudat Ayaz made a surprise inspection of the ICT Administration’s Citizens Facilitation Centre on Wednesday.

He inspected all the services offered at the facilitation centre including issuance of domicile, international driving permit and arms license as well as their procedures. He also interacted with public and asked them about their experience with regard to the services.

Keeping in view the suggestions of the people, the chief commissioner directed the staff to streamline the procedure for fee submission. Moreover, he also ordered that a duty magistrate sit in the facilitation centre on a daily basis for attestation of documents.

Ayaz also directed ADC (General) Shoaib Ali to streamline the services of ICT excise department by introducing token system.
