Another portion of MA Jinnah Road closed
The road between Numaish Chowrangi and Gurumandir has been closed
KARACHI:
The road between Numaish Chowrangi and Gurumandir has been closed for traffic on account of development work for the Green Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project.
Authorities had previously closed the part of MA Jinnah Road between Capri Cinema and Numaish Chowrangi and on Tuesday night, they expanded the closure to the track running from Numaish Chowrangi to Gurumandir as well. Traffic flow has been badly affected.
Imambargah and procession routes cleared of encroachments in Karachi
According to the traffic police, the Karachi Infrastructure Development Company (KIDCL) had advised the closure of road for a period of 10 to 15 days.
To facilitate citizens, the traffic police have diverted traffic from Gurumandir to Britto Road number three, leading towards the Soldier Bazar signal.
However, it must be noted that the due to the previously closed track from Capri Cinema to Numaish Chowrangi, there is already a massive traffic mess.
