The 26th meeting of the Sindh government's Public-Private Partnership Policy Board reviewed the progress on several infrastructure development projects for the city and decided to expedite the pace of work on these schemes on Wednesday.
The meeting, presided over by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, was attended by provincial ministers Saeed Ghani, Imtiaz Shaikh and Nasir Shah, Adviser to the CM for Law Murtaza Wahab, and others.
Sindh Governor orders timely completion of development projects
The participants were briefed on the current status of the Bus Rapid Transit System schemes, including the Yellow and Blue lines. The Malir Expressway project and the Greater Karachi Sewerage Plan (S-III) as well as the 50-megawatt power plant for the K-IV project also came under review.
It was decided to streamline procedures relating to bidding, financial closure and coordination with the stakeholders interested in these projects.
