“The future of our young generation is now connected with the CPEC,” said the chief minister during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing in Islamabad on Monday.
Balochistan Chief Secretary Dr Akhter Nazeer, irrigation secretary, energy secretary and government officials accompanied the chief minister.

Kamal and the ambassador discussed the CPEC-related development projects. Kamal shared vast opportunities of foreign investment in Balochistan.
He said, “CPEC is the surety of economic stability in Pakistan. Balochistan has been playing a vital role in the development of the country. The provincial government wants to equip the young generation with technical skills for the multi-billion-dollar project.”
He said the project would bring thousands of jobs for the people of Balochistan.
On mineral wealth of Balochistan, Kamal said, “The natural resources of the province will play an affective role in the multi-billion-dollar project. The provincial government has functionalised the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBIT) in order to provide all facilities to foreign investors under the one-window operation.”
‘200 CPEC projects to be completed in 12 years’
On Mineral Zones and Mineral Park for Balochistan under CPEC, Kamal said, “Balochistan has vast opportunities of foreign investment. The provincial government will provide all facilities and security to foreign companies seeking to invest in our province.”
Endorsing Balochistan CM’s proposals and offers, Chinese Ambassador Jing said, “Indeed Balochitan and Gwadar Port are key stakeholders in CPEC.”
Jing assured Kamal that the Chinese government would seriously review the issues shared by him.
