Teen Taray is a production for the younger audience depicting a story of three children who live in a land of imagination. They dream of moving to a place full of fairies but soon face the bitter reality of finding themselves as beggars on the street. The Chinese audience found the play quite interesting and hugely appreciated the work of our artists.
The play's director Aamir Nawaz shared that he didn't hesitate in choosing to bring the script to life as he found it so emotional. Teen Taray's cast and crew included Aamir, Hassan Raza, Eshah Shakeel and Gulshan Majeed as well as stage manager Aamir Ali and sound designer Imran Nawaz.
Maas Foundation performed six shows of Teen Taray during the festival. The production cpmpany will now be making its way to Mianyang, for the Mianyang International Theatre Festival for Children 2018 which will commence on October 1 and run until October 4. There, they will be performing eight shows of the same play.
Previously, Maas Foundation has performed at various international theatre festivals in countries such as India, Sri Lanka, South Korea and Nepal.
