Police arrives and arrests the accused
SARGODHA:
An eight-year-old child suffered a bullet injury in aerial firing during a wedding ceremony in Sargodha’s Bhera Tehsil on Wednesday.
A police official said that a marriage ceremony was underway in Hathi Wand village. He added that one of the friends of the groom, identified as Sher Khan, resorted to aerial firing in jubilation.
He maintained that as a result of the gunshots, a stray bullet hit Waqar and he was injured. The victim was shifted to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital for treatment. Soon after the incident, Bhera Police Station In charge Malik Naseem reached the spot with a heavy police contingent and arrested the accused, the groom and his father.
