232 proclaimed offenders apprehended in two months

BHAKKAR: Police arrested 232 proclaimed offenders from various parts of the district during the past two months and seized stolen vehicles, narcotics and weapons found in their possession.

District police teams, on the directives of Bhakhar DPO Khurram Shahzad, conducted raids across the district and arrested 232 proclaimed offenders.

Police also seized 7 stolen vehicles, 1,121 litres of alcohol, 30 kilogrammes of hashish and one kilogramme of heroin.

During the operation, police also confiscated 48 pistols, 15 guns, eight rifles, two Klashnikovs and three revolvers found in the possession of the criminals.

The outlaws were wanted by district police for various crimes such as murder, attempted murder, kidnapping and robbery.
