Mothers’ day: Maternal healthcare remains neglected

It was the second maternal death in Dera Bugti during August and 19th in the last six months as none of the lady gynecologists were willing to perform their duty in the district.

During the last election campaigns, residents of Dera Bugti demanded appointment of lady doctors in Dera Bugti to halt further loss of innocent lives of females and children.

The patients of Dera Bugti are compelled to travel to Punjab as there are no basic healthcare facilities in the district for the last many years.
