As many as five people lost their lives while a police officer sustained injuries in separate incidents of violence across the province on Saturday.
According to details, two men were shot dead in the Zehri area of Khuzdar district. They were rushed to the district headquarter hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
Police claimed old enmity between two rival groups as the reason behind the killings.
Six labourers shot dead in Balochistan
Separately, two dead bodies were recovered in Sibi.
According to details, two bodies identified as Abdul Gaffar, son of Haji Khair Mohammad Bugti, resident of Tali and Mohammad Saleem, son of Sahin Talani, resident of Lehri district were recovered from the mountainous area of Sibi.
The bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital, Sibi by the district’s assistant commissioner. The reason behind their deaths could not be ascertained till the filing of this news story.
Seven, including Levies personnel, killed during two days of Eid in Balochistan
Police have launched an inquiry into the incident.
In another incident, a man was killed while a policeman sustained injuries during a clash that took place between two rival groups in the Gharibabad area of Dalbandin district.
The deceased and injured were shifted to the district headquarter hospital. The body was handed over to the heirs after completion of medico-legal formalities.
