Two 'motorcycle lifters' nabbed during raid in Nazimabad

Police claimed on Tuesday to have arrested over a dozen suspects, including a worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) allegedly involved in over half a dozen cases of target killings.
According to police officials, the police, on a tip-off, carried out a raid in the Mehmoodabad area in Defence Housing Authority Phase I and arrested a suspect, identified as Ishratullah Khan. The police also recovered arms and ammunition from him. According to South SSP Omar Shahid Hamid, the suspect was an active worker of the MQM-L and was involved in various offences, including murder and attempt to murder.
A case has been registered against him while further investigations are under way.

In the meantime, the Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) of the Karachi police arrested at least two suspects allegedly involved in the theft of motorcycles during a raid in Nazimabad. They were identified as Saqib and Naeem. According to ACLC officials, the suspects were involved in various cases of motorcycles' lifting. The police also claimed to have recovered at least four motorcycles from their possession.
Three more suspects were arrested by the Korangi police who were identified as Alam Bengali, Mustafa Bengali and Salman Bengali. The police also claimed to have recovered arms and a motorcycle from their possession.
The Azizabad police also nabbed three suspects, Saleem, Siddiq and Adnan, and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession, while four suspects, identified as Mohsin, Zaheer Lala, Hassan and Atif, were arrested by the Zaman Town police. They were allegedly involved in multiple cases of crime.
The police have registered cases against the suspects, while further investigations are under way.
