Kareena Kapoor glitters in gold at India Couture Week

Actor shined bright as she walked the ramp for designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock

Kareena Kapoor Khan was the golden star of India Couture Week in New Delhi. The actor shined bright in a shimmery lehenga as she walked the ramp for designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock on Thursday. The choli was heavily embellished while the lehenga comprised intricate, shimmery patterns. The feathery drape, which Kareena carried with utmost sophistication, rested on her right shoulder.

The starlet has been regularly walking the ramp for the last 10 years but she confesses that she still gets nervous before a show. “I still feel like a newcomer every time I take the ramp. I’m a born actor but I’m not a born model,” Hindustan Times quoted the Ki & Ka star as saying.

Kareena revealed that her ensemble weighed 30 kgs. “This is the first time I was wearing such a heavy outfit and I don’t think I would have done this for anyone else but Shane and Falguni Peacock.”

When asked if she loves to dress up her son Taimur Ali Khan as well, Kareena responded super cutely. “Taimur is already the biggest superstar so he’ll soon be training me on how to dress.”
