Sakhi Sarwar Blast: Police get till June 7 for investigation

Six men arrested in connection with the suicide blast on Sakhi Sarwar shrine were remanded.

Six men arrested in connection with the suicide blast on Sakhi Sarwar shrine were remanded back to the police till June 7 because their challans had not been completed by the police. More than 50 people had died in the blasts at the shrine on April 3, 2011. The alleged mastermind of the bombing, Behram Khan alias Sufi Baba, and his associated – Umer Fidai, Salim Jaan, Asghar and Farooq – were arrested. They were produced before a special anti-terrorism court on Thursday. The court directed the police to complete the challan forms and bring the accused back on June 7.
