Ikramullah Gandapur laid to rest in DI Khan
Gandapur had served from a seat previously held by his brother, Israrulah Gandapur, who also died in a suicide attack.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) martyred candidate Ikramullah Gandapur was laid to rest in Dera Ismail Khan on Monday after losing his life in a bomb attack a day earlier.
A large number of government functionaries, including Army and police officials, attended the slain candidate's funeral prayers offered in the ground of Kulachi Degree College, reported Express News. Strict security measures could be witnessed throughout the district.

A former minister and PTI candidate in PK-99, Gandapur was killed in a suicide attack in DI Khan on Sunday. Authorities confirmed he passed away at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) where he was being treated.
Gandapur had served as the agricultural minister in the PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet. He was elected from PK-67, a seat previously held by his brother, Israrullah Gandapur who was a former law minister and also died in a suicide attack.

This was the latest in a string of attacks targeting politicians in the days leading up to the general elections. Siraj Raisani of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Haroon Bilour of Awami National Party (ANP) were among hundreds killed in such attacks just this month. The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the incident that took Gandapur’s life.
