While we cannot comment on the fairness of the upcoming general elections, the palpable excitement and mystery surrounding the pre-election campaigns has got us all worked up. The election fever reached a new level when Mahira Khan ad Ushna Shah launched their political parties.
Ushna’s Social League of Wakers (SLOW), with a teacup as an election symbol, upholds the status quo with its slogan “Uthna kaafi hai”. We loved the way in which Mahira's Jaagna toh parega (JTPP) party retorted with "uthna kafi nahin hai".
Waqt aagya hai badalne ka, kyun ke #uthnakaafinahihai. @TheMahiraKhan has just announced her Party. Stay tuned for her press conference! #jaagnatohparega

Isn't waking up the same as getting up? Mahira doesn't think so! We saw a different side of the Humsafar actress as she called out chai lovers for their complacency.
The campaign took on a new sense of urgency when Mahira challenged Ushna to a debate announcing her press conference. Well, she better hurry up for she has barely a week to win us over.

Waseem Badami sparked a fresh round of conjecture and debate by tweeting that if mainstream political parties were not enough, celebrities too are going to participate in the political arena this election.
Already itni parties hain, ab kya celebrities bhi election lade gi... https://t.co/hkcbeLEdnW

Does that mean this is not it? Will this debate politicise our celebrities? Is this the next big debate? We are sure all of our questions will be answered in Mahira’s press conference.
