“The work of former railways minister deserves praise,” said the minister while inaugurating the new bogies of Bolan Mail at the Pakistan Railways Office in Quetta on Monday.
Bharucha said, “The event is not being celebrated due to the Mastung tragedy.”

She said, “After lengthy deliberations by the railways department to resume Chiltan Express and Balochistan Express to facilitate the people in their travel, new bogies have been given to Bolan Mail with facilities of air-conditioners, light and water.”
She said that the Bolan Mail would start its journey from Quetta and after passing through important cities would reach Karachi.
“Jaffar Express has already been upgraded; however, the upgradation of Akbar Express is underway,” she added.
She said properties have been purchased to make Gwadar a part of the country’s railway network. Other railways installations would be constructed soon, she added.
“A feasibility report has been prepared to connect Quetta to Peshawar. It will take nine hours to travel by train from Quetta to Peshawar,” she added.
