Contaminated water causing diseases amongst prisoners

Contaminated water supply in Adiala jail is causing different diseases including Hepatitis amongst the detainees, the hepatitis tests of 287 prisoners proved positive.
According to details, polluted water in Adyala jail is spreading different dangerous diseases including hepatitis, skin infection and diarrhea etc amongst the prisoners. On directives of Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Iftikhar CH hepatitis tests of the patients were conducted, 287 patients are positive for hepatitis.
The Home department has been informed about the medical reports of the tests. The patients have been categorized in groups; their further tests including PCR tests have been conducted from Jinnah hospital Lahore.
According to jail administration services of a specialist doctor has been assigned for those patients who have been tested positively.
