A day after his convoy was attack, Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal leader Malik Shereen nominated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s Malik Shah Muhammad Khan in the FIR on Sunday.
The MMA candidate for PK-89 has blamed Malik Shah and his brother Malik Gulbaz Khan for Saturday’s IED blast in Bannu that left eight people injured, including a Frontier Constabulary worker. The FIR includes charges of terrorism. Where Shah has previously served as a provincial minister, Gulbaz is a district member of PTI.

Malik Shereen’s convoy was attacked when it was passing through the Takhti Khel area in the PK-89 constituency as part of the election campaign. Initial reports revealed the explosives were planted on a motorcycle which exploded in the path of the convoy.
