Police say Arizona woman, 92, killed 72-yr-old son
When her daughter-in-law saw her off at the Muzaffarabad bus station on Tuesday, Razia had Rs1,500 on her.
However, according to the police, when she reached Islamabad and went to the street where her daughter used to live, she found out that the family had moved to some other place.
The next day, Wednesday, she was found dead in an uninhabited area near Ghauri Town phase-1. Police say she had been strangulated and her dupatta was still wrapped around her neck when they reached the spot in the afternoon on Wednesday. Her nose had also bled, the police said.
“The old woman had no contact and no mobile phone. She could not find her daughter’s house,” a police officer said. “It had rained a lot that evening. We do not know why but some cruel and evil person did this to her,” the officer stated.

The woman’s purse was found near the body which carried her identity card and Rs1,120, due to which the police do not think of it as a mugging incident.
The police contacted her family back in Muzaffarabad who were also clueless who might have done this, saying they had no enmity with anybody. Police have marked the incident as a blind murder and have so far found no lead in the case.
