The officers said that the girl named Sidra, a resident of Multan, was travelling with her father in Metro Bus. Her father disembarked at Chowk Kumharan station while the girl didn't get off the bus and reached Vehari Chowk station. Later, the girl asked a rickshaw driver, identified as Abbas, to drop her home but he tried to kidnap her.
The motorway police arrested the driver and handed him over to the local police. They contacted the girl's family and handed her over to them. The father of the girl appreciated the motorway police's efforts for a reunion of her daughter.
