Traffic cops urged to adopt ‘people-friendly’ attitude

Any police officer found misbehaving with the citizens would not be tolerated and would be shown the door, SSP says

ISLAMABAD: Courtesy, decency and a people-friendly attitude is the hallmark of any public-dealing organisation, whether in the public sector or in the private sector.

This was stated by Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) SSP-Traffic Farrukh Rasheed while addressing a meeting convened to review the performance of ITP force.



Hence, any police officer found misbehaving with the citizens would not be tolerated and would be shown the door, SSP Rasheed stated, adding that having a friendly public-police liaison and positive attitude was mandatory.
