Pakistan has slowly but surely been making it's mark on the world. From Quratul ain Balouch collaborating with Jason Derulo to Mahira Khan representing the country at the Cannes Film Festival 2018, suffice it to say we're getting there.

The latest to do Pakistan proud is fashion designer Rizwan Beyg who recently showcased his collection at The Commonwealth Fashion Exchange, held at Buckingham Palace, earlier this year.

Beyg's designs exhibit motifs created by original truck artists that have been printed on silk by rural women. In this way, the couturier encourages women empowerment and rural development.

The Commonwealth Fashion Exchange showcases fashion talent from 53 countries. It brings the modern day values to life through fashion.

Sartorial: Where art thou, Rizwan Beyg?

Beyg has been a part of Pakistan's fashion industry for a long time. His work includes bridal and pret wear and has also been showcased at Lakme Fashion Week 2014 in India.

Earlier, it was also rumoured that Beyg was working to create costumes for Bollywood's top film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films. However, no details were provided on said matter.
