Resident of D-Type Colony consumes poisonous pills after being upset over domestic issues

A woman committed suicide over a domestic dispute in the precincts of D-Type Colony police station on Monday. A police official said that 55-year-old Nasira Bibi, a resident of D-Type Colony, consumed poisonous pills after being upset over domestic issues.
She was shifted to hospital for treatment but she could not survive. In another incident, a minor boy was electrocuted at an auto workshop in the area of Garh Fateh Shah police station.
The police said that 10-year-old Bilal, son of Yaseen Awan and a resident of Garh Fateh Shah, was working at an auto-workshop when he accidentally touched a pedestal fan. As a result, he suffered severe electric shock and died on the spot.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested more than a dozen criminals including proclaimed offenders from the city. The police said that the raiding teams also seized weapons, bullets and liquor from their possession.
