PIA apologises over delay in delivering bodies to relatives
14 bodies had arrived at new Islamabad airport between 10am to 12am on Saturday on four PIA flights
The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has apologised on Saturday over their failure to deliver dead bodies, arrived at the new Islamabad airport, to their families and relatives on time.
The apology came following a little delay caused in delivering the bodies due to heavy congestion at the airport.
14 bodies had arrived at the airport between 10am to 12am on Saturday on four separate PIA flights from Manchester, London, Riyadh and Karachi. As per official policy, the national flag carrier carries dead bodies free of cost from all over the world through its flights.
