Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) made a special announcement on Thursday and asked passengers to report to Islamabad International Airport (IIA) five hours before their international flight departure.

The announcement by the national carrier stated that the announcement was being made in light of "the traffic congestion due to strict security checks", further stating their topmost priority was their customers' convenience.

However, people on Twitter are definitely not happy with the announcement, leading to a myriad of sarcastic comments and funny retorts aimed at the national carrier.

Some wondered if even five hours was enough..

ZAHEER | 5 years ago | Reply It simply means two hours journey will become eight-ten hours travelling including the useless five hours on Islamabad airport. Unfortunately no one bothered to realize the importance of time the travelers spent money for their convenience and not for wasting their precious time in such idiotic things.
