Four dead bodies recovered from various parts of Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Four dead bodies were recovered from various parts of Faisalabad during the past 24 hours.

On Saturday, a man’s corpse was recovered from Abdullah Pur Underpass, while the body of a 25-year-old youth was found near Korianwala Bridge located on Sammundri Road, said police.

In another incident, the body of a 50-year-old man was recovered from Rakh Branch Canal near Chak No 193/R-B Shareenwala, while the body of a new born baby was found in a deserted area near the Abdullah bridge police check post.



Police shifted the bodies of the deceased to the morgue for a post mortem report. Currently, efforts are underway to locate the families of the victims, they added.

Further, police claimed to have arrested 26 criminals, including 19 proclaimed offenders, during the past 24 hours. Police also confiscated five pistols, 3,090 killogrammes of hashish and 107 litres of liquor found in the possession of the accused.
