Illegal recruitments? Peshawar university barred from hiring new teachers

An ICU Peshawar official told The Express Tribune on the condition of anonymity that due to the appointment of incompetent heads at the institute, the standards of its once-renowned studies has fallen drastically.

He added that since all faculty members are holding keys positions in the varsity’s administration, they do not have time to take classes and, as a result, the student suffers.

Talking to The Express Tribune, a senior official at ICU Peshawar explained that the university has not appointed these teachers against these administrative posts permanently. Rather, these were temporary placements where they the teachers were working on voluntary basis.
