Bhakkar district management creates Labaik Bhakkar mobile app

ISLAMABAD: The District administration of Bhakkar, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Syed Bilal Haider, has taken exemplary steps to provide hassle-free basic facilities and services at the doorsteps of citizens.

An official from the administration shared details about the services being provided to locals. He said the DC is keen and focused on upgraded facilities in the region.

A number of projects have been initiated of which the Labaik helpline is one.  It provides information and services to the doorsteps of all citizens without needing them to visit public offices.

It is the first-of-its-kind e-governance project in the area. The helpline includes an SMS-based complaint management and tracking system.

Mobile app launched in Bhakkar

The district management also created the Labaik Bhakkar mobile app. The purpose is to promote community involvement and citizen participation in governance. An interactive website is another step towards civil management and all information regarding recruitment, procurement and other major development will be available.

In addition, the management also introduced a jail reforms package at the local level. Under the initiative of technical education courses and literacy classes for men and women will be conducted.
