Police claims to arrests seven shopkeepers on the charge of decanting gas illegally

FAISALABAD: The police claimed to have arrested seven shopkeepers on the charge of decanting gas illegally from various parts of the district on Sunday. A police official said that police team nabbed Nisar Ahmad from Batala Colony, Fayyaz from Jhall Bridge area, Ziaullah from Chak No 2-JB, Muzaffar from Chak No 266-RB, Kashif from T-Chowk Factory Area, Owais from Narwala Bungalow and Imran from Chak No 257-RB for decanting gas illegally. Separate cases have been registered against the accused. Similarly, Millat Town police arrested two gangsters and seized weapons from their possession. On a tip-off, Millat Town police station SHO conducted a raid and arrested two culprits identified as Naveed Masih alias Navido and his accomplice Riaz Masih. The police also seized two motorcycles, weapons, mobile phones, gold ornaments, LED and Rs200,000 from their possession. The gangsters were wanted by police in a number of dacoity, robbery, theft and other cases of street crimes. Further investigation was underway.
