Karo-Kari: Two women killed

SUKKUR: Two women were killed allegedly on the pretext of karo-kari near Sukkur.

The suspect, Abdur Rehman Mirani, shot his wife, Izzat, and then opened fire at his sister-in-law, Shama. He escaped after killing the two women.

Tamachi police handed over the bodies to the families after the post-mortem but they have yet to file the case. Published in The Express Tribune, May 18^th, 2011.
