KARACHI:

Hundreds of Port Qasim dock labourers joined the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) workers during their strike at the Karachi Press Club on Tuesday.

The KESC worker’s hunger strike against their management continued for the 18th day. The workers walked from KPC to Burns Road, shouting slogans against KESC and the Port Qasim authorities. The Jamaat-e-Islami’s Asadullah Bhutto addressed them. “The government is not taking [your] problems seriously. If they want, they can solve your issues today but they are just wasting time,” he said.
