Murad Ali Shah urges need for better education facilities for children with disabilities

Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah has said that persons with disabilities need our love and special care.
He stated this while speaking at Zainab Rehabilitation Center (ZRC) on Jamshed Road which he visited on Monday.

"God has bestowed special qualities and talents upon these children and what we have to do for them is to train them properly and affectionately," he said, adding that he has taken special measures for the education of children with disabilities.
"I have visited most of the schools and institutions working for rehabilitation of children with disabilities and believe the people involved in this [rehabilitation] work are great," he said.

The CM said that education of persons with disabilities is quite expensive in the private sector, but some philanthropists have started contributing to the cause.
"It is your greatness that you are running this institution [ZRC] free of charge," he said, addressing Haji Masood Parekh and others, who are the founders of ZRC. "I have activated the schools working under the administration of the special education department and they are also contributing to this rehabilitation work."
Sindh CM to consult opposition leader about caretaker chief executive
The CM met special Olympian Arish Ahmed who won gold medals at the Special Olympic Games held in Brunei. He congratulated and hugged Ahmed for becoming a special Olympian and said he has shone the name of Pakistan, particularly of Sindh.
Ahmed showed the gold medals he had won to the CM. The chief minister encouraged him and the other children at the ZRC. Shah visited different classes and spent time with the children. "I have enjoyed your company. You are our angels," he said, addressing the children at the centre.
