Paramilitary force arrests six suspects

Nabbed men include alleged target killers, robbers and drug peddlers

The Rangers claimed on Sunday to have arrested at least six suspects, including target killers, during raids across the city.

According to a Rangers spokesperson, two suspects were arrested during targeted raids conducted on a tip off in Khawaja Ajmer Nagri. They were identified as Nazim Ahmed and Arif alias Tunda. The spokesperson said the suspects were involved in several targeted killings and robberies.

Three more suspects were arrested by the paramilitary force during targeted raids conducted in the Awami Colony and Gulshan-e-lqbal areas. They were identified as Shakeel Mughal, Mobin and Yasin Panwar alias Kabari.

Rangers arrest seven suspects

In another raid conducted on a tip off in the Soldier Bazaar area, the Rangers troops arrested a suspect identified as Kazim Raza. According to the spokesperson, he was involved in drug peddling.

The paramilitary force also claimed to have recovered arms, ammunition and drugs from their possession. They were later handed over to the police.
