Police arrest 19 including four Afghans
law enforcing agencies recovered one pistol from the suspects
ISLAMABAD:
Tarnol police on Friday conducted search operation in its respective jurisdiction and nabbed 19 suspects including four Afghan nationals, a police spokesperson said. Following directions of IGP Islamabad Dr Sultan Azam Temuri and SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi, other security agencies conducted search operation in various areas of Tarnol.
19 suspects including four Afghan nationals were held and the law enforcing agencies recovered one pistol from them. Further investigation of this is in process. SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi has said the purpose of this search operation and high vigilance is to ensure complete security in the city and he also directed all the SHOs to continue it. He has also appealed the citizens to remain vigilant and inform police in case of any suspicious activity in nearby areas.
