The helpline office will work under the students affairs and placement department, Dr Shaikh said, adding that if students had any problem at the varsity or they wanted to inquire about anything related to their academic issues, they could call the helpline to have their problem resolved.
According to the VC, students could also contact the helpline in case they had forgotten their identity cards due to which they were not being allowed to enter the varsity premises. Such a facility would help students concentrate on their studies with peace of mind, he said.
