Police department finalises its recommendations and sent it to the provincial government for approval
PESHAWAR:
In light of orders issued by the apex court, the provincial police force has decided that no commando from elite force nor a regular policeman would be deployed as a guard for any private person in the province.
Moreover, in the event police guards have to be provided, they would be provided from the Frontier Reserve Police (FRP) platoon.
The decision was made at the end of a two-day high-level meeting at the Central Police Office (CPO).

It was further decided that the provincial intelligence coordination committee would carry out a survey to determine the security needs of the important individuals in the province.
