Motorcycle rider was killed by a speeding tractor trolley

FAISALABAD: At least three people were killed in different road accidents in Faisalabad on Friday. Police said an unidentified 35-year-old motorcycle rider was killed when a speeding tractor trolley hit him near Al-Shifa Hospital. The police shifted the body to a local hospital. In the second incident, 50 years old Kausar Bibi died on the spot while 30-year-old Younis was injured when a motorcycle hit them. In yet another incident, Taj Muhammad, 47, was killed while Rizwan, 28, suffered injuries when their two-wheelers collided with each on Jaranwala Road. Meanwhile, Thikriwala police arrested nine people on charge of gambling in Chak 66-JB Dhandra. The police said a police team conducted raid in Chak 66-JB and nabbed nine persons- identified as Shehbaz, Mumtaz, Samiullah, Muhammad Arshad, Lal Din, Parvaiz, Muhammad Sharif, Shakeel and Muhammad Anwar on charges of gambling. Cases have been registered against them.
