Woman 'poisons' nephew to death over domestic feud in Vehari

MULTAN: A woman allegedly poisoned her two-year-old nephew to death on Wednesday as a revenge act as she made him drink a deadly chemical in Vehari district near Multan.

The suspect, identified as Mubeena Naaz, administered p-Phenylenediamine (PPD) to the boy, which damaged his mouth, throat and stomach, leading caused his death.

Police have arrested the suspect and an investigation into the incident is underway. It vegan when Naaz's sister-in-law Musarat, who was married to her brother Meraj, returned to her house after developing differences with her husband.

Naaz, who was herself the wife of Musarat's brother Farooq, feared that her marriage would be destroyed too, and subsequently had verbal spats with the lady. The two coupled had tied the knot three years ago.
