Pakistan Medical Association: New president seeks better conditions

Dr Samrina Hashmi says people need to be made aware of the “pathetic conditions” in which medical professionals work.

The newly elected president of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Sindh, Dr Samrina Hashmi, has said that people need to be made aware of the “pathetic conditions” in which medical professionals work. She was addressing the oath taking ceremony of the PMA’s newly elected cabinet held at PMA House. She requested Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, who was the chief guest, to announce a relief package for the doctors of Sindh as is being done in other provinces. Press release
