Over 57,000 bikers penalised

Police says, action was taken for not using helmets against 57,002 motorbike riders

ISLAMABAD: The traffic police on Monday said that they had penalised more than thousands of motorbike riders for not wearing helmets since the start of this year. The police said the action was taken for not using helmets against 57,002 motorbike riders in the capital while another 2,118 were punished for under-aged driving.
