Modern fuel farm opened at New Islamabad Airport
Facility will ensure seamless fuel supply to aviation industry
ISLAMABAD:
Adviser to Prime Minister on Aviation Division Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan on Thursday inaugurated Pakistan’s largest and most advanced fuel farm facility at the New Islamabad International Airport, which was developed jointly by Pakistan State Oil (PSO) and Attock Petroleum Limited.
“We appreciate the efforts of PSO and Attock Petroleum to serve the aviation industry by setting up this huge, state-of-the-art fuel farm facility. This shows some serious commitment from both players to their mission of ensuring seamless fuel supply to the aviation sector,” the adviser said.
Total Parco launches premium fuel
The facility’s smooth operation will be ensured by the offloading bays that are equipped with 600 USGPM pumps, a storage capacity of 10,000 tons with three vertical tanks, a 3,600 USGPM product pumping system and highly advanced refueling equipment comprising eight hydrants.
Speaking on the occasion, PSO Managing Director Sheikh Imranul Haque took pleasure in launching the country’s largest and most advanced fuel farm facility at the largest and most advanced airport of Pakistan.
“PSO stays committed to its mission of ensuring seamless supply of quality fuel products to every corner and industry of the country which we will continue to pursue with great fervour,” he said.
PSO is Pakistan’s largest oil marketing company with operations at nine major airports and over 35 years of experience in fuelling the aviation industry.

Attock Oil Group of Companies Group Chief Executive Shuaib Anwar Malik said the fuel farm facility was a huge step towards efficiently fueling Pakistan’s aviation sector.
