I want Taimur to be a cricketer: Kareena Kapoor Khan
The 37-year-old actor is a fourth generation Kapoor actor herself

Kareena Kapoor Khan, a fourth generation Kapoor said that she cannot imagine her life without acting.
Regarded as one of the best actors of the Indian film industry, Kareena has had many years earning box-office success, critical acclaim and awards. However, when asked whether she thought of foraying into other fields apart from acting, she said: “After 18 years of working in this profession, I don’t think I can think about anything else because I always wanted to be an actor. I can’t imagine life without acting.”

Sharing her feeling on receiving the Lokmat Maharashtrian Power Celebrity of the Year Award, she expressed that each award holds importance. She added, “I am very proud of my state and city. I am a true Mumbaikar and I feel very humble to receive this honour.”
Kareena’s Tashan co-star Akshay Kumar also received a Maharashtrian Of The Year Award. Speaking of him, Kareena shared that no one else was more deserving than the Khiladi actor because his choice of films is very brave.

The 37-year-old actor was also asked about her son Taimur Ali Khan, who is a favourite with paparazzi. When questioned on what profession she wants Taimur to venture into, she replied, "I would want him to be a cricketer."
Taimur has both, acting and cricket, in his genes. While his grandfather Tiger Pataudi was captain of the Indian cricket team, his grandmother, father and mother belong to Bollywood.

Kareena will be seen next in Veere Di Wedding which will be her first film after the birth of Taimur. The film also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania.
