Young man was shot dead in Sargodha

SARGODHA:
A young man was shot dead in Sargodha on Wednesday.

Police said that 17-year-old Muhammad Ali Zaighum, a resident of Muhallah Hussain Abad, had an old enmity with Kamran, 25, over some issues. In a fit of rage, Muhammad Ali opened fire on Kamran, killing him on the spot and fled the scene.

Police shifted the body to hospital for legal formalities. A case has been registered against the accused.

Meanwhile, two people were killed while four others were injured in separate road accidents in Atta Shaheed and Mianwali police limits.


A police official said that a bus was on its way on Muzaffargarh-Mianwali Road when it collided with a tractor trolley near Head Pakka.

As a result, Alam Khatoon, 38, died on the spot while three others identified as Fouzia, 32, Saeed, 28, and 14-year-old Mohsin sustained injuries.

Further, police claimed to have arrested 21 drug pushers and seized narcotics and illegal weapons from their possession.
