Minister for improving quality of transport sector
Nosherwani says route permits of vehicles used in smuggling narcotics will be suspended

Balochistan Minister for Transport Abdul Karim Nosherwani has said that income of government increases due to revolutionary changes in the transport sector, while people are providing transportation facilities in the province.
He said this while talking to Provincial Transport Authority Secretary Noor Muhammad Mandokhail, who called on him at his office on Friday.

The transport minister said, “Maximum measures will be taken to improve quality of the transport sector, aiming to provide facilities to masses while travelling in the province.”
He said now transportation condition was moving towards improvement as compared in the past.
The provincial minister also directed the relative secretary to ensure that medical kit, rental lists of all districts of the province and fitness certificate were present in vehicles for betterment of passengers. The secretary was also ordered to ensure proper checking of vehicles to improve the condition of commuter buses.

He said, “Route permits of owners of those vehicles that are used in smuggling narcotics will be suspended in order to discourage such activities in the province.”
Nosherwani said, "Medical tests of drivers will be ensured in order to avoid any untoward situation while travelling. This measure will protect the lives of passengers."
He urged transporters to cooperate with the government for betterment of the transportation system in the province.
