Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has assured all supports to the family of Naseemullah Mehsud in order to bring justice to them, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
On January 13, Naseemullah, alias Naqeebullah, along with three others were killed in a 'fake encounter' by former Malir SSP Rao Anwar in Karachi earlier this year.
According to the military’s media wing, the assurance came by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS during his visit to the aggrieved family in Makeen, South Waziristan Agency (SWA) on Thursday.
Gen Qamar, accompanied by Commander Peshawar Corps and IGFC K-P South, condoled with Naqeeb's father and also offered fateha.

According to the police chief, Naqeebullah had links with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and was living in Karachi’s Sohrab Goth area using a fake name.
However, the family said that he was an aspiring model and was killed in a fake police encounter.
Uplift schemes
Moreover, Gen Qamar also inaugurated two mega projects that include Agriculture Park in Wana and a market in Makeen.
Both the facilities are part of socio-economic uplift programme for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata). The projects have been executed by the Pakistan Army Engineers with the government.

The Wana park comprises multiple components including state of the art pine nut processing plant, 1,000 tonne capacity cold storage facility, warehouses, godowns and 128 shops while Makeen Market Complex has 728 shops, allied facilities and a children’s theme park.
Gen Qamar assures tribal elders of enduring peace, stability
Speaking to local tribal elders, the army chief said that having lived through difficult times during operations against terrorists. “We now are in the phase of stability and development.”
He urged them not to allow anyone to jeopardise the peace attained at “heavy cost in blood and national exchequer”.
The COAS also said that earliest mainstreaming of Fata to the popular aspirations of the local tribes is essential for its development and enduring stability.
He acknowledged tribal brethren for their full support to army and their resolve to maintain and strengthen the gains.
