We are unable to keep track of deadly terrorists such as Osama bin Laden.

JUBAIL, SAUDI ARABIA: Despite maintaining one of the world’s largest armies, we are unable to keep track of deadly terrorists such as Osama bin Laden. Also, even if a low-level militant or terrorist is arrested, more often than not he ends up being released for ‘lack of evidence’. We have banned various militant groups and sectarian outfits but do nothing when they reappear and operate under different names. Another example of this tolerance for hate speech was how the government did nothing to stop rallies that praised Governor Salmaan Taseer’s killer and demanded his immediate release.

With all this in context, we shouldn’t really complain if, because of our inability to contain the terrorists and militants in our midst, someone from outside comes in and does the job for us.

kag | 13 years ago | Reply Subject: Appointment of Asim M.Khan as PPL acting MD This is the first time I am appreciating the current government of PPP by appointing the acting head of PPL from the same company not somebody from outside. By appointing somebody from outside only creates frustration and non-motivation among the employees, I don't know why the Government don't understand that a government get stronger due to strong institutions and a stronger institutions is due to stronger leadership which mostly comes from within the organization. At least this time Dr. Asim Husain did not repeat the same practice of others like a Minister was so happy with the services of a Dubai Casino employee that he appointed him as the chairman of a national insurance company(not having any exposure of the insurance industry) and there are many other examples. Things came to that point that I used to think rather expected that one day our Meera will be appointed as the President of First Women Bank in recognitions of her services towards ?.
