Vehicle carrying women hit mine when crossing the border, says Chaghi official

At least three people including two women were killed on Wednesday as a result of a landmine blast near the Rajhay area of district Chaghi near Pak-Iran border.
According to Levies, the vehicle carrying two women and a child hit a landmine laid by unknown persons near the Rajhay area of Chaghi district near the Pak-Iran border. “Two women Bibi Naseema and Bibi Maryam and the vehicle driver Abdul Rehman Reki were killed as a result of landmine blast on the spot while a child sustained critical wounds.”
Levies and Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan’s contingents rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal process.
Deputy Commissioner Chaghi Imran Ibrahim said, “The vehicle illegally crossed the border and was moving towards its destination when the driver accelerated over a landmine.”
Footage surfacing after the blast showed the wreckage of the vehicle, which was destroyed due to the intensity of the explosion.
Security forces have lodged a case against unknown persons and opened investigation.
