Opener scores 54 off 42 as Islamabad United register six-wicket win on Thursday

JP Duminy's responsible knock helped Islamabad United beat Quetta Gladiators by six wickets in the 28th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Sharjah on Friday.

After deciding to bat first, Gladiators managed to post 147 for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Captain Sarfraz Ahmed finished the innings with the top score of 43 off 30.


For United, Faheem Ashraf claimed three, whereas Amad Butt claimed two wickets.

In reply, United chase down the target with 10 balls to spare at the expense of four wickets.


The star of the show was all-rounder Duminy, who scored 54 off 47 with the help of four fours and two sixes.


For Gladiators, Rahat Ali claimed two, whereas Shane Watson and Mir Hamza claimed a wicket each.
