LAHORE: The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) is all set to launch Rescue Scout Programme at schools for awareness on child safety and lifesaving skills. Rescue 1122 organised a consultative workshop on “child safety through education” on Wednesday at Emergency Services Academy Thokar Niaz Beg. The programme has been standardised in consultation with Citizens Mobility and Development Foundation, representatives from Public and Private Universities and School Education Departments including Dolphin Police, TEVTA, Punjab Energy Efficiency Conservation Agency, Quaid-i-Azam Academy for Educational Development, Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, Aitcheson College, Pakistan Girl Guides Association Club Punjab, Boys Scouts Association Punjab, Pink Ribbon, Akhuwat Foundation, Beaconhouse School System, School of Contemporary and Islamic Learning, Oxford University Press and the University of the Punjab.
